What is the meaning of the Word of God?

The Word of God is Jesus.

In the beginning the WORD already was, the WORD was in GOD’S presence, and what GOD was the WORD was. HE was with GOD in the beginning, and through HIM all things came to be. Without HIM no created thing came into being. In HIM was LIFE and that LIFE was the light of mankind. The LIGHT shines in the darkness and the darkness has never mastered it. …And everyone that accepted HIM, to them HE gave the right to become children of GOD, to them who believed in HIS NAME. John 1:1–4

I saw HEAVEN wide open and a white horse appeared, its rider’s name was FAITHFUL and TRUE, for HE was just in HIS judgments and just in war. HIS eyes flamed like fire and on HIS head were many diadems. Written on HIM was a NAME known to none but HIMSELF, HE was robed in a garment dyed in blood, and HE was called THE WORD OF GOD. Revelation 19:11–14

What is more certain than the Almighty Creator’s word — His word of honour?

”…I shall be with you to protect you wherever you go and I shall bring you back to this land, I shall not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” (Genesis 28:15)

“GOD is not mortal that HE should lie, not a man that HE should change HIS mind. Would HE speak and not make it good? What HE proclaims will HE not fulfil?” (Numbers 23:19)

“I have sworn by MY HOLINESS once and for all I shall not break MY WORD.” (Psalm 89:35)

“For HE was mindful of HIS solemn promise to HIS servant Abraham.” (Psalm 105:42)

“Then the LORD said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am ready to perform MY word.’” (Jeremiah 1:12)

“FOR I THE LORD, shall say what I will, and it will be done. It will be put off no longer. You rebellious people, in your lifetime I will do what I said. This is the WORD OF THE LORD GOD.” (Ezekiel 12:25)

“But they went out to proclaim the message far and wide and the LORD worked with them and confirmed the WORD by the miracles that followed.” (Mark 16:20)

“He gave GLORY TO GOD, convinced that what HE had promised HE was able to do.” (Romans 4:21)

“But the WORD OF THE LORD endures forever more and this ‘WORD’ is the gospel which was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:25)

How to be saved and redeemed

Let us see what the unfailing word of GOD says.

“For all alike have sinned and are deprived of the divine glory.” (Romans 3:23)

“For sin pays a wage and the wage is death…” (Romans 6:23)

“But CHRIST died for us while we were yet sinners and that is GOD’S proof of HIS love for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“But GOD gives freely and HIS gift is eternal life in union with CHRIST JESUS our LORD.” (Romans 6:23)

“If the confession ‘JESUS IS LORD’ is on your lips and the FAITH that GOD raised HIM from the dead is in your heart you will find salvation. For faith in the heart leads to righteousness and confession on the lips leads to salvation. For everyone who calls on THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” (Romans 10:9, 13)

And who does this?

“For by GRACE you are saved THROUGH FAITH. It is not your own doing. It is GOD’S GIFT not a REWARD FOR WORK DONE. There is nothing for anyone to boast on.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)

If you believe what you have read, kneel down and pray out loud to God

ALMIGHTY GOD and FATHER GOD of my LORD JESUS CHRIST, I come in the name of your HOLY CHILD JESUS CHRIST and I plead YOU be merciful to me, sinner that I am. I confess that everything I have done by myself from birth was sin. YOU know my heart and soul and the secrets of my thoughts, nothing is hidden from YOU.

I repent my many sins, poverty, misery, and illness. I repent fear, un-forgiveness, bitterness, self-hatred, shame, guilt, self-rejection towards myself. I repent addictions (drugs, alcohol, medicine), idolatry, witchcraft, idols and religious mindset against Your Word. I repent anger, adultery, abusive relationships and so much more! Holy Spirit please help me to identify what I need to repent because I want to come clean.

I pray ALMIGHTY GOD that my sins and indiscretions be wiped out by the BLOOD OF JESUS THE LAMB OF GOD and please break the chains that Satan and this world bound me with. I admit and confess that JESUS CHRIST is YOUR SON, that He died on the Cross and shed His blood for my salvation and that YOU raised HIM from the dead.

I call on YOUR NAME to redeem me completely of sin and earthly bondage. Holy Spirit please help me with the renewing of my soul, my mind, my will and my emotions to Your Word alone.

I now proclaim JESUS CHRIST as my personal Saviour and place my life in YOUR HANDS out of my own free will. ABBA FATHER I know because of YOUR unfailing WORD, that I am now reborn through YOUR SPIRIT. I thank YOU for redemption and YOUR GRACE.

I thank YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN.

What must I do now?

Look at what JESUS told HIS disciples in Acts 1:1–8, especially verses 5–8. What must happen now to receive the Promise of HOLY SPIRIT and the power that goes with it? The answer is in Acts 2:37–41. “What are we to do, brothers?” And Peter said: “Repent and be baptised.” (Remember you have already repented by giving yourself to CHRIST JESUS in the prayer you have prayed above.)

”…And let each one of you be baptised in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, for forgiveness of sins.”

See how the LORD JESUS and the Apostles did it: Matthew 3:13–17, Mark 1:8–11, Luke 3:21–22, Acts 8:35–38, Acts 10:44–48, Acts 16:14–15 and 33, Acts 19:1–7, Acts 18:18, Romans 6:1–11, Romans 8:14, Ephesians 4:5.

When baptised in water, the “old” or previous life is buried. All illness, sins, like addiction, fear, un-forgiveness, self-hatred, self-rejection, feelings of guilt — as repented above — and all the rest stay behind. To be baptised is not just symbolic. NO, IT IS REAL. You die with Christ and you rise with Christ into a NEW life and into a NEW Kingdom, the Kingdom of LIGHT. Then you will receive the gift of HOLY SPIRIT, that is to speak in your heavenly language. This baptism is the dynamite POWER OF GOD and Holy Spirit will teach and guide you to experience and live a full life in the KINGDOM OF LIGHT. This life brings joy, peace, health and victory in all areas of life!

As a precious, well-equipped CHILD OF GOD I can now GROW SPIRITUALLY — but I need the right food to grow.

Take your BIBLE, which is the written WORD OF GOD, read and study it as much as possible. Learn it by heart and memorise it, for it is the food for your SPIRIT, soul and body.

A good idea is to study His Word in the following way: two chapters of the Old Testament, starting with Genesis; five Psalms; one chapter of Proverbs; and two chapters of the NEW TESTAMENT. Start again with Psalms, Proverbs and the New Testament when finished with those chapters. Then continue in this way till you have read the whole BIBLE, and start again.

As you read you will grow and the HOLY SPIRIT will guide and show you the answers to your questions.

To overcome worry and fear, declare these truths out loud three times a day

I am the body of CHRIST and Satan has no hold on me, because I do good deeds and overcome the bad. (1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans 12:21)

I belong to GOD and I am victorious over Satan because GOD lives in me and HE is mightier than the devil that lives in this world. (1 John 4:4)

I shall fear no darkness for YOU are with me my LORD, YOUR word and YOUR spirit comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

I am free of oppression and have nothing to fear. (Isaiah 54:14)

The weapon that will prevail against me has not been made, for my victory comes from the LORD. For in everything I do I will prosper and I will be like a tree planted beside water channels. (Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 1:3)

I have been rescued from this wicked world that I now live in because it is the will of GOD. (Galatians 1:4)

No disaster will befall me, no calamity touch my home, for HE will charge HIS angels to guard me wherever I go.

CHRIST brought me freedom from the curse of the law. Therefore I forbid any disease or illness to enter my body. Every germ and every virus that touches my body will die instantly in THE NAME OF JESUS. Every organ and cell in my body is working in perfect harmony as God designed it to work. I forbid any error and fault in my body in THE NAME OF JESUS. (Galatians 3:13; Romans 8:11; Genesis 1:31; Matthew 16:19)

By the sacrifice of the LAMB and by the witness I bear I am the Victor and have Victory. (Revelation 12:11)

I submit and listen to GOD, I stand up to the devil and he runs from me in the NAME OF JESUS. (James 4:7)

YOUR WORD is everlasting LORD, it is firmly fixed in heaven. Therefore I confirm YOUR word here on earth. (Psalm 119:89)

YOUR children will be instructed by the LORD and they will enjoy great prosperity. (Isaiah 54:13)

For material need, declare these words out loud three times a day until it manifests

CHRIST released me from the curse of the law, CHRIST released me from poverty, CHRIST released me from disease, and CHRIST released me from spiritual death. (Galatians 3:13; Deuteronomy 28)

For poverty HE gave me riches, for disease HE gave me health, for death HE gave me everlasting life. (2 Corinthians 8:9; John 5:24; John 10:10)

I delight in the LORD and HE gives me the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4)

I give and gifts will be given to me. Good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over, will be poured into my lap; for whatever measure I deal out to others will be dealt to me in turn. (Luke 6:38)

The measure I give I will receive. I sow in abundance and I reap in abundance and my GOD gives mercy in abundance to me. (Mark 4:24; 2 Corinthians 9:6–8)

And my GOD will supply all my needs out of the magnificence of HIS riches in JESUS CHRIST. (Philippians 4:19)

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing because JESUS became poor so that through HIS poverty I may be rich. JESUS came so that I may have life and have it in all its fullness. (Psalm 23:1–2; 2 Corinthians 8:9; John 10:10)

And because I received the gift of righteousness I reign like a king in this life through JESUS CHRIST. (Romans 5:17)

The LORD is well pleased with the peace of HIS servants and the blessing of Abraham is mine in JESUS CHRIST. (Psalm 35:27; Galatians 3:14)

For wisdom and guidance, declare these words out loud three times a day until it manifests

The spirit of truth lives in me and teaches me all things and HE leads me in truth. Therefore I declare that I have perfect knowledge in any situation that I may experience or come across, for I have the wisdom of GOD. (John 16:13; James 1:5)

Put all your trust in the LORD and do not rely on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

I let the gospel of CHRIST live in me in all richness and wisdom. (Colossians 3:16)

I follow the good shepherd and know HIS voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. (John 10:3–5)

JESUS CHRIST became wisdom to me out of GOD and in HIM we have righteousness, holiness and liberation. I declare that I am the righteousness of GOD IN JESUS CHRIST. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

I have full insight into GOD’S will, all wisdom and spiritual understanding. (Colossians 1:9)

I am a new creation in CHRIST because I am HIS creation, created in CHRIST JESUS. Therefore I have the mind of CHRIST and the wisdom of GOD is shaped in me. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 2:16)

I have discarded the old human nature by the renewing of my mind through the WORD OF GOD, and have put on the new nature which is constantly being renewed in the image of its creator and brought to know GOD. (Colossians 3:9–10)

I receive the spirit of wisdom and vision with the knowledge of HIM that they bring, so that my inward eye be enlightened. I am no longer conformed to the pattern of this present world, but transformed by the renewal of my mind through the word of GOD. (Ephesians 1:17–18; Romans 12:2)

For consolation and strength, declare the following out loud as necessary

I grow in the knowledge of GOD, I am strengthened by HIS glorious might. (Colossians 1:10–11)

He rescued me from the domain of darkness and brought me into the Kingdom of HIS dear SON, JESUS CHRIST. (Colossians 1:13)

I am born of GOD and I have faith to overcome this world, for GOD who inspires me is greater than the one who inspired the world. (1 John 4:4)

I am able to face anything through HIM who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

I rejoice in the LORD for HE is my protection, the LORD is the stronghold of my life. (Nehemiah 8:10; Psalm 27:1)

The peace of GOD, which is beyond all understanding, will guard my heart and thoughts in CHRIST JESUS. (Philippians 4:7)

I speak no word of error but only words that will bring salvation to those who listen. I do not grieve the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, for I am sealed by HIS blood till the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:29–30)

No one will remove me from HIS hand for I have everlasting life. The peace of GOD reigns in my heart and I refuse to let anything worry me. (Colossians 3:15; Matthew 6:31)

I pay heed to the words of GOD and I do not allow HIS word to slip from my sight. For it is life that I have found, and healing for my body. (Proverbs 4:21–22)

The living GOD lives within me, HE gives me life in abundance and HE gives me the fruits of the HOLY SPIRIT. I share in HIS GLORY. I share in HIS godly nature — and if GOD is for me then who can be against me? (2 Corinthians 6:16; John 10:10; 2 Peter 1:3–4; Romans 8:31)

I am a believer and faith will bring with it these miracles: in the NAME OF JESUS I will drive out demons and speak strange tongues, I lay my hands on the sick and they are healed. (Mark 16:17–18) Jesus gave me the right to use HIS NAME; what I forbid on this earth will be forbidden in heaven. Therefore in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST I forbid the authority of the powers of the world rulers of darkness and evil of this age, and demon spirits in the air, and I render them harmless and without power against me in the NAME OF JESUS. (Matthew 16:19; Matthew 18:18; John 16:23–24; Ephesians 6:12)

I am perfect in HIM that is head of all authority and power, for I am HIS handiwork, created in JESUS CHRIST for all good deeds that GOD prepared so that I can walk in HIS ways. (Colossians 2:10; Ephesians 2:10)

Build your faith

The following paragraphs should be read out loud. This is how you build your faith, because faith comes through hearing the Word of God.

I am a new creation in JESUS CHRIST — yes, I am. What does it mean? It means that the minute I accepted JESUS as my personal Saviour, I was born into the family of GOD THE KING. I am a child of GOD. He put a new life into me. I am born from above out of the Spirit. Everything that GOD makes is good. I will not live a bad life, for my life is in CHRIST. I did not make myself — HE made me. I am what HE made me to be, a new creation. I will not think of myself as worthless and small, because I am in CHRIST and in CHRIST I have been given the gift of a new life. My old nature is in the past. I am a citizen of a new Kingdom. My citizenship is in heaven.

My name has been written in heaven. Oh, wonder above wonders — I am a new creation in CHRIST. Created by GOD, HIS own handiwork. GOD works in me for it is HIS will as well as HIS purpose. What does GOD do within me? HE builds me. HE strengthens my faith. How does HE do it? Through HIS own Word.

I am the righteousness of GOD in CHRIST. How do I know this? The declaration of the word of GOD in 2 Corinthians 5:21 confirms this truth. I am now justified in CHRIST. What does it mean to be justified? It means I have the gift of GOD to stand in HIS presence without feeling unworthy.

That means GOD justified me with HIS own justice. I stand in front of GOD without feeling inferior. I am now perfect in Christ and free of the inferiority complex that held me captive. Hallelujah!

I am released from the Kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of the SON of HIS love. I was in the realm of spiritual darkness, Satan as my lord and master, chain-bound and lost to everlasting hell. But then JESUS came and set me free and saved my soul from the damned and gave me HIS life. Now I am in this excellent Kingdom where HE reigns as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. HE invites me to HIS throne. In this life I reign with HIM. Yes, I am released and saved.

Before, I was a captive of Satan; sin was my master. I lived to satisfy the flesh. But now in the new Kingdom, Satan and sin have no hold on me. In the old Kingdom I lived under the sceptre of disease, fear, poverty and failure. I was bound by demon powers, but have been redeemed by the BLOOD OF JESUS. Now with total freedom I say: away with disease, gone is fear, gone is poverty and need, away with failure and weakness. I am free. I live in a new Kingdom, the Heavenly Kingdom where there is light, life, freedom, joy, happiness, peace, health, security, blessing and power.

I have been redeemed. What a redeemer I have — HIS name is Jesus!

Disease can’t live in the home of the HOLY SPIRIT; my body is the home of GOD. GOD lives in this new creation that I am. HE is the Father and I am HIS child. Disease cannot rule over HIS body. I do not belong to myself; this body belongs to my LORD JESUS, I am only the keeper. I am the caretaker of my body, and as the caretaker I refuse to let disease enter my body or dishonour the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT.

I am an heir of GOD and joint heir with JESUS CHRIST. I received a rich inheritance. I am blessed with spiritual blessings in CHRIST JESUS. My Father loves me just as much as the LORD JESUS. My own wonderful FATHER is greater than everyone. HE loves me with an everlasting love. Yes, I am blessed with the best of heaven.

My CHRIST said: I am the vine and you are the branches. That is how firmly I am tied to HIM. HE is the living vine and I am a branch of that vine. The same life, love, joy, peace, power and wisdom that flows in the vine, flows in the branch. Wherever I the branch may go, flows the life of the vine.

At this moment I have the life of GOD in this mortal body — not only when I get to heaven, but now. My spirit is alive. Given life, I live and move and my whole being is in CHRIST. I have what GOD says I have, I can do what GOD says I can do, I am what GOD says I am.

I declare that the above named facts are established in heaven and are now established in my heart. I will say it often with freedom of spirit. I possess my possessions in CHRIST JESUS. Amen.
