The Wonderful Name of Jesus, the Name above all Names!
Jesus, Yeshua, means “God is Salvation!”
The Power in the Name of Jesus Christ and Testimonies. — The Name of Jesus as part of the Vessel with the Extra Oil.
Jesus Christ the same; Yesterday, Today and Forever!
Above All Names. — Translation of the Name of Jesus Christ.
As the five wise virgins in Matthew 25 needed extra oil in their vessels to get through the midnight darkness with the coming of the Bridegroom, we also today need that extra strength to overcome in the times ahead, when it will be impossible for us to continue with our daily lives as we were used to.
But let us first look a little deeper into the 10 virgins. The 5 foolish virgins had oil in their lamps. Thy were born again, yes they were also born as a new specie in Christ but they didn’t have enough oil to take them through the darkest hours of midnight. While the time was available, they didn’t seek sanctification of their spirit, soul and body. They didn’t ‘practice’ to walk in the righteousness of God and to walk in authority with Jesus Christ, ruling and reigning in the Kingdom of God as God intended from the foundation of this earth. Their soul or minds (which is the will, thoughts and emotions) were still in the flesh and in control, and they didn’t submit their soul to their human spirit which was and is saturated by Holy Spirit when being born again. They were busy with their normal religion, making money, normal busy lifestyle, many times struggling in life with many challenges but with no time to seek the answers in God’s Word and from God. To say in short, they didn’t put in effort to renew their minds to the Word of God. They didn’t follow God’s Word 24/7 as the ultimate direction of LIFE!! Can you see why it was (and is) impossible for the 5 wise virgins to sell their oil? This extra oil cannot be sold neither can it be bought from somebody. You and you alone must seek and be guided by Holy Spirit to be able to grow in maturity and righteousness in Christ. This is the only way the extra oil can be collected and in doing so, to be ready when tribulation comes and when things will get very very wrong!
Therefore, part of the extra oil, additional to the baptism of Holy Spirit, is the knowledge of the use of the Name of Jesus Christ that I will focus on now.
So, here I want to witness about the incredible authority in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ—free for each of us, if only we realise who we are in Christ and then use our authority which we have in the Name of Jesus.
Our son Gideon and his wife Pats, are raising chickens, doing a fine job, and selling live as well as slaughtered chickens.
On the 20th of April 2006, a black man phoned my son and asked him to deliver to him 50 live chickens, and told him where to take them. Arriving at the address, he met the man, but the man told him that he must give him a lift to his house, a little farther away.
Gideon went miles and miles—a big mistake that he won’t do again. Later they arrived at the place and the man asked him to come into the house, to get the money for the chickens, which he did.
One of our workers, Hendrik, always accompanies Gideon, and he stayed in the van to look after it; the chickens were still in the van.
As soon as Gideon was in the house, Hendrik saw four other young men storming into the house, and at the same time there was one with a knife at the van, telling Hendrik to also go into the house—Hendrik saw something was very wrong, jumped out and ran away!
Just behind the first house he stopped and phoned my husband Braam, who was sitting right in front of me in my office at the moment—that was unusual in itself—and Hendrik told him what happened and that he ran away—and I saw how Braam’s face paled, and heard him say: “Hendrik, you ran away—I hope not Gideon…” and he stopped and looked at me.
I just asked: “Were they attacked?” Braam only stared at me, and then I shouted: “In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ they won’t hurt my child! I am taking authority over those men and I command you in the Name of Jesus Christ not to hurt my child!” But I didn’t play!
Braam agreed in Jesus Name and I just went on like that! Then he told me what Hendrik told him; he tried to phone Gideon, but he didn’t answer the phone; he didn’t get any response on Hendrik’s phone either.
It was such a shock, for they had our child!
Of course, we knew what would happen normally in such cases. Just earlier in the same week, it was on the news that for the past year, there were over 18 thousand murders; that means about 52 a day!
So Braam went to the police, but because we didn’t even know where they were, the police also could do nothing.
I called our daughters and together we took authority over that people and we just went on with commanding them in the Mighty Name of Jesus to release Gideon. Our total focus was on the safety of Gideon and we went on for hours, declaring their safety (Psalm 91), pleading the Blood of Jesus and taking authority over the complete situation!
I sent the angels in the Name of Jesus to protect our son and then I just kept it up to take authority over those men for hours; I did nothing else. (Hebrew 1:14. Greek Bible)
Braam just drove along, looking for his son! I can just imagine how his heart felt.
Under normal circumstances I quickly receive answers from God on prayers, but that day I just could not get through to peace.
Later I told my daughter Alet: “It doesn’t matter whether they kill him, for I am going to raise him up in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!”—and at that moment I would have done it; my heart was so full of this sure knowledge of the power and Almightiness of God!
This went on for hours, and at last Braam phoned; he got answer on Hendrik’s phone, they were safe and on their way back. He also spoke with Gideon who said the road was very bad and they were driving very slowly.
Immediately I started to praise up a storm to this wonderful God! I called the girls and we all praised God with everything within us!
By that time we knew the robbers didn’t take the bakkie but we still didn’t know whether they were hurt or not.
Then Braam called and told me that he and our son-in-law Alec found them, they are all right—and then we heard the whole story.
Gideon says the man invited him into the house to get the money. He never even thought about danger, so he sat on a chair next to a round table, while the man started talking to him.
Soon he told the man he didn’t have time to chat, for he had to return home, but then four other men stormed into the house, asking for money, and with the man of the house, they started to pat on his pockets for money. At that he stood up and shoved the man away, the man fell on his buttocks and one shouted: “This man wants to fight!”
So two of them grabbed him from behind and pushed him down on the chair—without hurting him—and they took off his ring, watch, cell phone, purse and knife, and put it on the table, and demanded money.
He told them he didn’t have money on him, so one went to the bakkie and returned with the money bag and with his ID book, and all of his cards as well as his driver’s licence, which they placed with the other stuff on the table.
By this time Hendrik already have phoned us, and the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ was lighting a burning fire around them!
They shook the money out on the table, about R300 ($30) and the man of the house started grasping it and stuffing it into his pockets, and said to Gideon: “All right, GO! GO!”
He was so shocked, he still sat there, and they shouted: “Just take your stuff and GO!” and they chased him out.
Calmly he stood up, gathered his things—all of it—and went to his bakkie and drove away to the police station where he found Hendrik and the two of them drove away! Just like that!
Of course, they didn’t report it to the police, for half of the time the police are in on those deals.
They didn’t take his phone, they didn’t even take one chicken, they didn’t take the bakkie, the two of them didn’t have a scratch or bruise, and those men had knives!—only the money was taken.
Then they told us there was no signal on their phones in that place; that is why Braam could not get answer at Gideon’s phone. It was a miracle that Hendrik got a signal there to call Braam in the first place!
How great is God
I believe that the Mighty Name of Jesus brought Gideon back from certain death; for all of us know what the normal practice is in such cases; the victim is killed in order for him not to identify the robbers.

Ek skryf hierdie brief aan julle en veral aan Ouma om dankie te sê.
Dankie vir Jesus omdat hy vir Ouma gered het en dankie vir Ouma omdat ouma gehoorsaam is aan die Here en aan die instruksies wat die Here vir Ouma gee. Dankie dat Ouma ons leer en dat Ouma dit in boeke neerskryf. Dankie aan Ouma en aan my ma wat dit vir jare in ons in vryf. Dankie dat julle met ons oor die dinge van die Here praat elke keer as julle ons sien en elke keer as Ouma vir my skryf.
So baie baie dankie. Ek dank Ouma vandag met my lewe.
Ek en Liezel het besluit om vandag na ‘n Science uitstalling te gaan kyk in Johannesburg. Die uitstalling is in sentraal Johannesburg reg in die midde stad. Ons het besluit om met die Gautrain te ry van Pretoria na Johannesburg sentraal, waarvan ons dan ‘n Gautrain bus sal neem na Newtown om die uitstalling te kyk. Alles het volgens plan verloop, maar toe ons van die Gautrain bus afklim sien ons dat die area waardeur ons moet loop vir 3 blokke om by Newtown uit te kom, baie ‘dodgy’ is. (Dodgy beteken iets is nie lekker nie, dit lyk rof/gevaarlik).
Ons het so 3 uur veilig by die uitstalling aangekom. Dit was baie interessant en ons is toe so 5 uur klaar. Toe ons klaar is sê ek vir Liezel ek wil nie deur hierdie area terug loop nie, kom ons vra iemand of hulle ons na die stasie toe sal neem wat net so 2km daar vanaf is. Ons vra toe ‘n jong paartjie, wat toe half ongewillig instem omdat dit in die teenoorgestelde rigting is as waar hulle op pad is en dit is spitsverkeer op ‘n Vrydag middag.
Omdat ek nie die stad ken nie en die bestuurder ook nie, kyk ek op my telefoon se GPS en probeer hom van agter uit die kar verduidelik waar om te ry. Maar daar is twee stasies met dieselfde naam, Park stasie, een vir die Metro rail en een vir die Gautrain, die twee is langs mekaar, maar seker so ‘n halwe km se stap. Die ingang tot die Gautrain se stasie is ‘n relatiewe ‘goeie area’ (geen straat smouse, taxis, min mense, baie sekuriteit, polisie) aan die heel teenoorgestelde kant van die Metrorail se ingang wat in ‘n ‘swak area’ is. (Daar was baie baie stalletjies langs die pad, vergane geboue, vuil strate). Omdat ek nie die plek ken nie en net van ‘n kaart af op my foon aanwysings probeer kry, verduidelik ek toe ons wel doener na die verkeerde kant toe (Metrorail se ingang). Ons doen ons bedankinge en klim uit voor die stasie, maar ons dink toe dat ons eerder by die ander ingang wil ingaan wat sekerlik net om die hoek is. Wel wat toe eintlik aan die gebeur is, is dat ons in ‘n heel verkeerde rigting instap en dinge begin net erger en erger te lyk. Toe gebeur dit…
‘n Man gryp aan Liezel se handsak en wat om haar lyf was en sy begin vir my te sê: ‘Hy het my sak, hy het my sak.’ Sekondes later begin iemand aan my sak te ruk en ‘n ander een steek sy hand in my baadjie sak waar my telefoon en trein kaartjie was. Ek gryp toe dadelik my telefoon en hou dit vas met die een hand terwyl ek my sak oor my skouer met die ander hand vashou. Maar die ou met my foon is besig om die stryd te wen omdat hy twee los hande het en hy is besig om my foon (en trein kaartjie) uit my hand te wikkel. Toe asof in tweede natuur begin ek te sê: ‘In the mighty name of Jesus, In the mighty name of Jesus!’ Maar die ou voor my koggel my en lag en sê ‘Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…’ Toe sê ek: ‘In die magtige naam van Jesus, stuur die engele om ons te beskerm!’ Toe skielik los hulle ons en ons hardloop terug waar ons vandaan kom. So ver as wat ons hardloop sê ek: ‘Engele beskerm ons, hou ons veilig’ en ook die eerste bybel vers wat by my opkom: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil, for you are with me!” Ek sê dit hardop soos ons hardloop en wissel dit af met ‘die engele beskerm ons’. Toe hardloop ons verby ‘n vrou wat goed lyk en ek slek af en vra: ‘Where is the Gautrain station?’ Sy verduidelik vinnig vir ons en Liezel sê vir haar: ‘They are mugging us’. Sy sê toe: ‘Don’t be afraid!’ Ons hou toe op met hardloop en loop baie vinnig en so ver as wat ons loop prewel ek: ‘Magtige naam van Jesus… Engele beskerm ons… dal van dood skaduwee ek sal geen onheil vrees nie, want u is met my!’
Soos dit uitdraai was ons toe nog ‘n hele ent weg van die Gautrain stasie. ‘n Man het ons nog tot by die stasie se ingang gevolg en toe opgegee. Binne in die stasie (wat baie groot is) het nog twee mans ons gevolg, maar ook tou opgegee. Uiteindelik toe ons binne in die Gautrain stasie is op die platform, langs die sekuriteit, kon ek ‘stock’ neem. My handsak was oop, maar gelukkig was my hoed en handskoene bo-op my beursie en my beursie was nog daar asook my kar-sleutels. Liezel se foon en beursie was ook nog in haar sak.
Ons het sowaar ongeskaad afgekom van seker ten minste vier of vyf mans wat ons probeer beroof het. Liezel sê die een man het vir haar gesê dat hy ‘n mes het. Ek het gehoor hoedat die mense rondom ons juig en lawaai maak. Dit het vir my gevoel soos ‘n skare toeskouers wat toekyk en die mans aanpor om ons te beroof. Liezel sê daar was een man wat een van haar aanvallers probeer weghou het en ons probeer help het. Ek weet nie of daar dalk nog ander mense was wat ons probeer help het nie. Maar dit het nie so gevoel nie. As daar was dan bid ek sommer nou dat Jesus hulle ryklik sal seën. Wat ek wel weet is dat niks eintlik in ons guns gedraai het toe ek gesê het ‘mighty name of Jesus, mighty name of Jesus’ nie, maar die oomblik toe ek outoriteit neem en die instruksie gee deur Sy Woord, en dit aan die engele deurgee, was dit ‘n split sekonde en almal los ons tegelyk. “In die magtige naam van Jesus Engele beskerm ons!”
Nou ja ek weet dit was baie baie dom van ons om alleen Johannesburg middestad toe te gaan. Maar ons is naïf. Buiten dit het ek al gehoor hoe goed is die stad gerehabiliteer en ek het nie gedink dit is ‘te bad’ nie, en vir die meeste deel was dit ook nie, dit was net dat ons in ‘n verkeerde rigting inbeweeg het waar dit nie so OK was nie.
Soos wat Ouma altyd sê loof en prys ek net Jesus vir hierdie ding wat gebeur het. Want alles gebeur vir ‘n rede. Net om seker te maak dat ek nie weer in so ‘n noue ontkoming kom nie, sal ek elke oggend en elke aand die outoriteit neem wat ons het in Jesus se Naam en Psalm 91 spreek waar God Sy engele bevel gee om ons te beskerm en die boewe en slegte dinge sommer ver weg te hou. Nou hierdie was die eerste keer in my lewe van 33 en ‘n half jaar, wat so iets my nog ooit oor gekom het, ek was nog nooit eers ge-‘pick-pocket’ nie. Ek was nog nooit in of naby ‘n rooftog nie. As ek nie Jesus en Sy Woord gehad het nie, en nie geweet het dat ek Sy Woord moet spreek om ons te beskerm nie, dan was ek sekerlik nie nou hier om hierdie brief te tik nie.
Daarom sê ek net baie dankie vir Ouma, dat Ouma hierdie dinge in ons koppe ingedril het!

Now one can clearly see how the authority and the decree in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ lighted a fire amongst those men so they couldn’t hurt them!
We are already living in the times that we urgently need the power of Holy Spirit through the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ before whom no darkness can stand! Darkness flees before light!
Nothing can stand against that Mighty Name! The Name of the Lord is a strong tower!
All glory and praise to Jesus, King of kings and God over all gods!
The children of God who are born again into the kingdom of God have to practice this authority over everything wherever necessary, and they need to know that no religion whatsoever can give them this authority; only the King of the Kingdom—we are His sons and daughters and we are rulers in His Kingdom! The Name.

Soon after that experience of Gideon, I received a book from Gerrie, which is teaching about the Kingdom of God.
I have read some of the writer’s former books and saw and heard him on TV and video, and I knew he teaches very well and do have a lot of religious knowledge.
So, I also enjoyed this new book, for he explains the Kingdom of God clearly and writes easy and understandable.
Very well up to a point. Then he starts explaining certain issues on which he doesn’t have revelations from God, but of course, he doesn’t know it. It is only creeds and traditions; religion—but he doesn’t know it!
It is the same as when a minister of some historical church tries to explain the baptism of Holy Spirit—he thinks he knows it—but he doesn’t have the experience. The experience is the revelation!
All along he writes that “God” is the King and Jesus is the Son of the King, Big-brother to the born-again people—who are all kings—and thus “God” in the King of kings!
While the Bible clearly states that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16).
Later he even says we are putting too much emphasis on Jesus, for He is only the Door into the kingdom, and the gospel of the kingdom needs to be preached—we need to get away from only preaching Jesus.
I am not criticizing the man or his work for God, he does a good job—and he doesn’t work for me—I only mention a few things to clear the way to the revelation Holy Spirit gave me.
Of course, it was very frustrating to me and I felt sorry for him, because once I too was there! So I wished I could tell him that there could not even be a kingdom if it was not for the King—Jesus!
He saw the kingdom greater than he saw the King who made possible the kingdom!
All along it is clear that he is so confused only because of that big illusion in the churches that Jesus is the “second Person in the Godhead;” and that makes of Jesus a second-class God! Every now and then he tries to give some place to Jesus, but to him Jesus is always second!
The Bible has this very clear: “In Him Jesus, dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Colossians 2:9) While Jesus Himself declares: “I AM the First! and the Last! I AM the Alpha! and the Omega! I AM the Beginning! and the End!”—thus He is the ALL of it! (Revelation 1:8,11,17, Matthew 11:27)
Never ever does the Bible call Jesus as second! For He IS the First!
How dare people change the Word of the King?
When I finished reading the book, I discussed it with Holy Spirit and meditated on it till deep into the night.
Early the next morning I again was talking with Holy Spirit about the Kingdom of God. That was Friday the 28th of April 2006. (The 28th of April is the date given me by Holy Spirit in March 1986—20 years earlier! It was the same date that the ANC government of SA started its rule in 1994.)
This is how I was thinking:
The writer says that born-again people are children of the King and Jesus is also a Child of the King, and it is better to be a child than a slave, and because we are children we are co-rulers—and all along he writes that we are “citizens” of the kingdom—he also emphasizes the “paying of tithes”—as many do.
Immediately the picture changes, for we need to be either children and because of that co-rulers, or citizens that only help with the running of the kingdom and are paying taxes.
Jesus asked of Peter: “The kings of the earth, of whom receive they toll or tribute? From their sons or from strangers? Peter answered: From strangers, and Jesus said to him; surely, then the sons are free” (Matthew 17:25-26). Those “sons” of which Jesus spoke were Himself as well as Peter, although Peter was not yet born again, because Jesus was not yet resurrected.
It also includes all born-again children of God.
The sons of the King are land owners; they don’t pay taxes; they work their lands and sow their seed and harvest their crops. Sowing and Reaping.
The King sends His sons into other countries as ambassadors, there to further their own King and kingdom!
While meditating on these things, Holy Spirit brought to my mind the scripture: “And if children, also heirs; heirs namely of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.” (Romans 8:17)
Joint-heirs don’t mean that, if the estate is worth R100, now Jesus inherits R50 and I inherit R50.
The inheritance is not divided between all of the children and each receives a few cents! No! It means I am with Jesus heir! Whatever Jesus receives, I receive also—not only part of it, for I am part of His body! Whatever is His, also is mine. (1 Corinthians 12:27)
If I am to inherit R100 from somebody, I don’t divide it into equal parts to my two feet, my hands, my back etc. I inherit it with my whole body. So, as part of His body I also inherited the whole “heritage” with Jesus Christ.
And this is where Holy Spirit asked me this question: “Who is it who died, for Jesus to inherit from Him?”
As usual, with the question, Holy Spirit opened it all to my spirit to understand.
In Hebrew 9:16 we read that where there is a testament to be inherited from, there has to be a death for the testament to be of effect.
So, who died? From whom did Jesus inherit?
There it is clearly written in Romans 8:17 “heirs from God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.”
“God” first had to die to make it possible for Jesus to inherit from Him!
In the beginning God gave the earth to man to rule over it; man then gave it to satan and with that, God lost the earth from His kingdom. To regain the earth to His kingdom and to salvage humanity from their bondage to satan, God needed to be born on earth as a human being to have legal right on earth, for the earth was given to man by God, and: “For the gifts and calling of God is not repented of.” (Romans 11:29)
God would not take it back from man. Although God had the power, he did not have the legal right on earth—He gave that to man.
Now here was God on earth in the human body of a Man, but God doesn’t change; so He did not become another God when He became flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). He also didn’t become a second-class God or a lesser God—He was still the very same God, Creator of heaven and earth, (John 1:3. Colossians 1:16) King of kings and Lord of lords! In that human body of Jesus dwelled the total fullness of the Godhead.
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Colossians 2:9)
This same God’s human body then died on the cross, this same God that is the eternal Spirit (Matthew 1:18. Hebrew 14) then went to hell with all sin.
And then He arose! In triumph He declared: I AM the First and the last and the living, for I was dead and lo! I am living unto eternity!” (Revelation 1:17) “All authority was given unto Me in heaven and on earth!” (Matthew 28:18)
From that day the earth again belonged to the kingdom of God; from then on Jesus was the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords!
From then on Jesus gave rebirth to people, and human beings were being born again by the blood of Jesus Christ—God’s own blood—as his own children! (Acts 20:28) Born into the kingdom of God!
Now born-again people are no longer slaves; we are no longer mere citizens, but own children of the King and thus legal co-rulers in God’s kingdom, to again rule over the earth as Adam was supposed to do.
With that Holy Spirit showed me Hebrew 1:4. “Jesus has inherited a more superior Name than the angels.” With that Holy Spirit gave me this mighty revelation. Psalm 138:2 Thou hast magnified Thy Word above all Thy Name.
The name is not only the spelling: J-E-S-U-S.
If I give you a letter to go buy on my name whatever you want and I have only R50 in my bank account, you can only buy for R50, for that is all that my name is worth! It is all I am worth. My worth is the worth of my name; my value is the value of my name.
Whatever a person is worth, is what his name is worth—whatever a person possesses is the worth of his name.
What is the worth and value of Jesus? What is the worth and the value of the Name of Jesus? Everything! Everything in heaven and on earth, in all the universe, physical as well as spiritual, the New Jerusalem, all angels—even all fallen angels as well as their leader satan—all are subject to the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
Jesus is the King of kings! He inherited the Kingship as well as the Kingdom from God, so the whole kingdom of God is the worth of His Name!
And I am co-heir to this Name! Not only do I bear the name of Jesus, I also possess the Name! I possess the value of His Name, for I am co-heir with Jesus Christ and He inherited the Name.
Just as Jesus is Light, I too am now the light in the Name of Jesus! (Matthew 5:14) Darkness flees before me as it flees before Jesus—all things obey me—for I am part of the body of Christ! I am legally born into God’s kingdom.
“I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me,” because Christ lives within me as His body!
Without Him I can do nothing! He is my life for he lives within me.
“In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily—and in Him we are made full.” I am made full! (Colossians 2:9-10)
Sin and sickness and all darkness and evil flee before me just as darkness flees before light! In the Name of Jesus I am looking in the crevices and dark corners where evil hides and in the Mighty Name of Jesus I cast it all out into outer darkness, for I am now the righteousness of God in Christ—I am now an own born child of God and have a legal right to the Name of Jesus, for together with Jesus I have inherited the Name—the Name is mine!
The full value of His Name is now mine to use in order for me to be able to rule in the kingdom of my precious Father, Jesus Christ; who by His own blood gave me rebirth into His kingdom.
TheWe have to know that our ANC government is the one head of the leopard that was wounded and again healed,—read my book on the Second Coming to fully understand it; it is to this rider on the black horse that God gave the command not to hurt the oil and the wine! (Revelation 13:1-4, Revelation 6:5-6)
The oil and wine is Holy Spirit in our lamps—that is our baptism in Holy Spirit. The additional oil in the vessels are the revelation knowledge that we are the righteousness of God, our minds are continuously renewed to the Word of God and we know the authority we have in Christ using the Name of Jesus, as we have discussed it.
We need to know this by experience that the enemy is already commanded by God not to hurt us—we only need to know and do it! Glory to God!
Nobody can hurt us born-again children of the King if we use the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Whenever there comes a person or persons against you to steal your car, or to do you any harm, just point your right hand and with authority shout: “In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ STOP! God’s angels are protecting me in all my ways in Jesus Name!” (Psalm 91 and 121). Don’t play; it is about life and death!
They will fall over or sneak away. Nothing and nobody can stand before the Name of Jesus Christ and His written Word!
Jesus Christ the same; Yesterday, Today and Forever
Last night on our way back from the bus stop, I was looking through the car’s window to the stars and in my heart I was praising and loving Jesus for His Almightiness and power and wisdom—He who shot forth those stars from His fingertips.
Later my heart was so full with praises in tongues, till Holy Spirit gave me the interpretation, so I asked Braam and Charlotte whether I could speak it out. They said I could go on.
This was it: “The same Almighty Creator-God who created heaven and earth, who shot the stars from His fingertips and measures the universe with His span, was not less almighty, or an inferior God, when He was born in the helpless, soft body of a Baby in a manger.
Neither was He an inferior, or second-class God or less almighty when He hung on the cross, dirty with spittle and blood.
Today He also is not an inferior God, or less almighty because now He lives in my body and in yours.
The place where He dwells doesn’t make Him inferior or less almighty or a lesser God.
Wherever He might be, don’t you ever underestimate the worth and power and almightiness of God because of the place of His dwelling! He still is—and always will be—Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth.”
Through the night Holy Spirit made it clearer. I, Letta, am no prophet, I am only spreading the message of the hour over the country.
The message of the hour is that Jesus Christ is God; one and the same God; Creator, (Colossians 1:16. John 1:3) Baby in the manger, rejected and despised on the cross, risen King, and today the living Christ within me! (Isaiah 9:5) Jesus Christ is the same; yesterday, today and forever!
The house in which He dwells doesn’t make Him worthy or inferior; He is always the same big and worthy God. It is not the house or circumstances that makes God Almighty and worthy; neither is it the house or body where He dwells that makes Him powerless and unworthy.
We need to practice to walk in His righteousness, to walk in authority in His Kingdom and to speak out the Mighty Name of Jesus! The Name of Jesus is a mighty part of the extra oil in the vessels with which we will go without hindrance through the midnight darkness.
Whenever you take authority in the Name of Jesus and command something, it will happen—perhaps you won’t see it immediately, but the fact that it is invisible doesn’t change the fact that it did happen.
The day when God told Abraham that he would have a son, the son already was there—although Abraham still could not see him. After God said it, nothing in eternity could stop the son coming to Abraham!
God calls the invisible as if it is visible—you just can’t see it yet. God is invisible, yet He is the greatest reality.
Just the same is the Name of Jesus which is the power over everything; Jesus is the Creator, (John 1:3. Colossians 1:16) so, command in His Name and know it already IS there for you; then all you do further is thank and praise Him with joy for that which already did happen—even if you don’t see it as yet.
You only have to know it by the renewing of your mind to the Word of God.
YOU have to know it with the knowledge of the Spirit of God; seek after it without taking time to eat or sleep or breathe; seek after it as you have never before, —it is very important for you to know it NOW!
Above All Names
It is impossible to ever say the last word about the glory and incredible power in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
The Name of Jesus is power and authority above all power; above all names and above all rule.
WHY?
“Jesus, who existing in God’s form, counted not the being on an equality with God aught to be grasped at,
but emptied Himself, taking a bondman’s form, being made in likeness of men; and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, yea, death of the cross.
Wherefore God also highly exalted Him, and endowed Him with the Name above every name;
that in the Name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to God Father’s glory.” (Philippians 2:6-11)
That is why
Jesus is the Creator; “All things became through Him, and without Him nothing became that had become.” (John1:3)
Jesus is the Beginning. “I am the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 1:17)
Now we read in Genesis 1:1. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Not only just in the beginning of time, but “within the Beginning” that is within Jesus Himself was God, and there, “within the Beginning” He created everything.
Who now is this “God” who in the beginning created the heaven and the earth? He is Jesus; the Beginning Himself.
“For in Him (Jesus) were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all have been created through Him and unto Him, and He is before all, and in Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:16-17)
“J e s u s” is the Word of God! All other words of the Bible are the words of God, but the one Word which is the summery of all the words of God, is the Word “Jesus.” Remember, Jesus’ name means “God is Salvation!”
All that God ever wanted to tell to humanity about Himself, all He wanted to make known to man; all of His love; all of His grace, all of His mercy, all of His greatness and power, all of His eternity and glory, He expressed in this one Word: “Jesus.”
Therefore Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega—that means He is the whole alphabet; everything that could ever be said in God’s words, is “Jesus!”
The best description perhaps, is as it is expressed in the numeric value. The whole value of the Greek alphabet from Alpha to Omega is 3999.
Three—3—is the expression of the whole Godhead; 9 is final; so 3999 is the highest possible expression of finality.
“Without any contradiction, Jesus is God! (1 Timothy 3:16)
It is clearly summed up in this scripture: “For in Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Colossians 2:9)
“In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh.” (John 1:1-14)
And today? “Jesus Christ is the same; yesterday, today and forever!” (Hebrew 13:8)
What is this telling us, why is the Name “Jesus” the Name above all names?
Because the Creator God that was in the likeness of God emptied Himself and took on Him the likeness of a servant, He became a human being; He laid down His gigantic Godhead to become a Man—and to be made sin—He, God above all, as SIN, as the Adam-life—to go to hell and to experience the unspeakable suffering and humiliation, for hell was prepared for the devil and his angels! And God is the holy God!
God’s total plan for all eternity was summed up in this one word: “J e s u s!” The Name “Jesus” is the ultimate!
Because He was willing to put down all His glory and to endure the worst possible humility and suffering, to allow His human body to be martyred in the process—to lay down the God that he was to be made sin-life, the life of His arch-enemy, devil-life and to bear the penalty for that in hell—therefore God gave Him the Name that is above all names!
Jesus is the Name of the human-born body; the One that was sacrificed. Remember, in the beginning He was God—He is before all—He is the Beginning. He laid all of that down to become a human being, and it is this human body that inherited the Name Jesus; it is this human body that was sacrificed for humanity as Redeemer. Therefore this human body received the Name above all names—Jesus!
He earned Histhis Name through and through
Not only did He inherit a more superior Name than the angels (Hebrew 1:4), He also earned that superior Name!
For that reason all power, all authority, all protection is in the Name of Jesus! Through His death He annulled the devil for everybody (Hebrew 2:14) who through that same death—by the blood and Spirit of Jesus—is born again. (1 John 5:18)
Every sinner can call upon the Name of Jesus Christ for total salvation, and deliverance from all sin, sickness, poverty and suffering; and from the devil and hell; (Romans 10:3) and can then be baptized into the Name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38) and from that can arise into a new life (Romans 6:4)—into eternal life that is Jesus Christ. (1 John 5:20) Then he is born again; a perfect child of God—by this same Jesus! (John 3:3-5)
Every born-again person can use this Mighty Name for every need! (John.14:13)
Whenever someone wants to attack or hurt you in any way, just stretch out your right hand and say; “In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ!” And he will fall down or powerless sneak away.
The Name of Jesus is power over all power of any enemy!
We now have to practice this
The secret is the Name of Jesus Christ. The Name is Jesus Himself. Think about this; pray about this, and “hear” what the Spirit says.
In the Name of Jesus nobody needs to be afraid of anything; in the Name there is authority over all power and might in heaven and on earth and under the earth—Jesus made certain about that, for He earned it!
Don’t be afraid any longer
Very much greater is He that is within you than everything that is in the world! This is Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ—the Spirit of Jesus as in Spirit, Soul and Body. Christ in you; the hope of Glory!
Everything I do in word and in deed, do it all in the Name of Jesus! More than two years have passed since I received the wonderful revelation about the Name of Jesus Christ, being part of the extra oil in the vessels. In the meantime I, as well as my children practiced the use of the wonderful Name with astounding results.
Of course, the practices become more difficult each time; one first has to pass grade two before he can start with grade three—and grade three is more difficult than grade two.
I just want to tell about the wonderful and glorious thing Holy Spirit opened to my heart, with some scripture that I am using every dayeveryday and which I knew very well—or which I was supposed to know very well.
Here on the plot are some days much turbulence as is in all families; I am the buffer, for I am the mother, the wife—and I am supposed to pray and be strong; I have to receive answers from Holy Spirit to give to the others.
Because the prices of the chicken-feed became much higher than it was earlier, the prices of petrol is much higher, the prices of electricity is much higher, the chicks themselves are more expensive, so, the costs to raise the chickens is much higher than the money we can sell it for.
So, we can’t go on with the raising of chickens; we have to look forhave other jobs—also Gideon.
Sunday night I slept for only a few hours; I prayed, I cried, I asked God to help, but I could not get a breakthrough.
While discussing everything with God, I thought about how vast and endless is the universe, how big and endless is the milky-way in which our sun is but a pin prick, and the millions of other galaxies; how big is the God who made this universe, who shot forth the stars from His fingers, where distances are measured by light-years, and He measures the whole universe with His span. (Psalm 8:4. Isaiah 40:12)
I said; look what He has; He is short of nothing; He has zillions more of everything than my mind could think or know—and I worry, I have need. I asked again and again and He doesn’t even give me one word as answer to console me.
Then I reminded Him that He said that if we, therefore, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto our children, how much more shall our Father in heaven give good things to His children? (Matthews 7:11)
God knows, although I am only a human being, I do for my children whatever I can—and where is my Father? I don’t eat “bread,” I am chewing stones with these things that are happening. So I cried for the rest of the night; I cried all through the night, without receiving any answer from my Father in heaven.
You have to remember, I am on my way to 80 years, so the next day I was very tired and; that night I slept for hours till four o’clock the next morning. And then this precious Holy Spirit took me back to the mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
He showed me why I was eating stones instead of the bread of life.
The Bible clearly says: “And whatsoever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and thank God Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17)
Whatever I do, in word and in deed; that means everything, always; I have to do everything in the Name of Jesus. Do I do it? Of course not! I know and use this scripture daily, but I don’t DO it.
Although I knew the scripture so well, I never knew I had to DO it like that!
That means, as I am writing here, I am writing in the Name of Jesus Christ. When I take a shower, I do it in the Name of Jesus; when I walk in the garden, I do it in the Name of Jesus. When I am cooking, eating, drinking water, talking, gossiping, criticizing, sleeping, reading—everything, whatsoever I do—not only when I’m praying or baptizing—whatever I do; in word and in deed.
Why didn’t I know that?
Do you know how difficult this is?
It is because we humans are forgetting so easily that God gave the command to the Jews to write His words on their hands and heads and on their doors, to be able to remember.
I can see that whenever we will really DO this, the sluices of heaven will be opened for us for spirit, soul and body.
So, I started to exercise doing it; I do it for some time, and when I again think about it, hours have passed that I did not even remember to do it! Then I start again for a few times—and soon again I forget.
I keep on practicing however; so, I’m writing now in the Name of Jesus Christ—for this is also my Name. (Hebrew 1:4. Romans 8:17. Galatians 1:14)
Then I have to say it in silence, for some of my people might be irritated; they will think that I am a fanatic—and that I am! Most people has something about which they are fanatic—mostly sports—so I choose to be a fanatic for the Name of Jesus. Of course, not everybody will like it!
They might think that I am thinking myself holier than they! This is not so, however, it is exactly because I have had such aso great a need and I neededneed the help of God urgently, so I neededneed to DO His Wordword.
Isn’t this what we read: “Through Him, therefore, let us offer up sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of lips confessing to His Name.” (Hebrew 13:15) We have to continually confess His Name with our lips.
Everything I do in word and in deed, all in the Name of Jesus! I must and I want to!
We have no guarantee that there never will be storms on our path—so whenever the storms blow, I am fleeing into the strong tower, for the Bible says: “The Name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10)
I am hiding in Him, for my life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3)
King David told the giant: “I come to you in the Name of the Lord of hosts”—this is Jesus. (1 Samuel 17:45)
I just want to witness about the wonderful provision of this Mighty Name! In the most wonderful way Holy Spirit started to provide for all of us more than anything we could think or pray—I need no longer pray because of the chicken prices! Praise Jesus!
That day when Jesus died on the cross, I was in Him; (Galatians 2:20) see how scared I was seeing out of His body where He hung on that cross, looking at all that happened; I was IN Him when He was crucified, for I was sin; I was crucified with Jesus.
I was with Him in hell—I am no longer judged, (Romans 8:1) I was already judged; I am no longer punished; I was already punished—I was already crucified for the whole world—and the world for me. (Galatians 6:14. Romans 6:6-7)
That day Jesus took me into Him, and from then on I am into His Name; it is my Name also—as God decided from before the creation of the world.
There, with His resurrection, when I was resurrected with Him, (Ephesians 2:6) all the sluices of His almighty Name were opened to me—I just have to live in it, and whatever I do, in word and in deed, I have to do in this Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
I am practicing it; it is very easy to keep my eyes on Jesus when there is no storm, but as soon as the storm starts, I am looking at the waves and then I am sinking—but I don’t perish; for time and again Jesus grabs me—I just have to learn from it all.
It doesn’t matter what the name of the storm is, I have to call on the Name of Jesus, like Peter did.
The name of the storm might be your husband, your wife, your child, finances, drought, job-losses, crime, the government, diseases and even a pandemic of infectious diseases —any name; but the help and solution’s Name is always Jesus! The NAME of Jesus!
To me it is such a wonder
And this is what we, as His children, now have to learn and practice; we function out of His righteousness, His holiness by renewing of our minds to the Word of God and then use of the Almighty Name of Jesus which is a great deal of the extra oil that will help us through the midnight-hour of tribulation—it have started already, we are already living in darkness. (Matthews 25)
The children of God didn’t have need of this extra oil through the past 2000 years, because it never before was the time of midnight darkness just prior to His second coming; but today we need to have it, therefore Holy Spirit practices us in it now.
No, experiencing and the learning areis not always very nice, but it is necessary; run into the Name of Jesus! Later! Until later you don’t leave the safety of the Name, but you stay there in whatever you do, in word or in deed.
This is not something just to read or hear, it is something to do all the time, sometimes even with every breath we are taking—I need to practice the hardest of all! But I want to!
This is not for salvation or rebirth or to earn something from God, this is for people who are already saved for the sake of health, safety and protection, food to eat, success in our businesses, salvation of our children, roof over our head, yes concerning everything in in our life, always.
I was so ignorant
The NAME IS JESUS
Here on the plot we are raising four lambs; three of them storm and fight to get to the bottle, but the fourth has to be caught, open its mouth, and put on the bottle, and still it kicks and strives.
I think this is how I am; each time Jesus needshas to open my eyescatch me and open my mouth when Hehe wants to give me something—but God is faithful! He never gives up on me!
And I can never do right to His Name, and lift up Jesus high enough!
Translation of the Name of Jesus Christ.
There is a subtle, though vicious outrage against the Name of Jesus.
Today is the last day for me to edit this book, to take out or add whatever I want to have in it. Last night I prayed about it and asked Holy Spirit to lead me in whatever He wants me to add.
I thought it would be about things to happen on the 28th of April, because I wanted Him to tell me what would happen on that date; or about the wrath of God, something about His soon coming, for as it is, we already are in 2009. I wanted to add it to the book.
Through the night this well-known scripture stayed on my mind: “Call on Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3) and I was excited because I knew He would tell me what He wanted me to put in the book.
As usually this morning, I was sitting in my chair to pray, all alone in the house, and again I was talking with Holy Spirit within me and urgently asked Him to tell me what He still wants me to add, or take out of the book.
Then my children phoned, Nico and Christienne, to ask about the translation of the Name of Jesus, for somebody we know very well, told them about it, and they want to know the truth.
Then I knew what I needed to add to the book.
For many decades there was a great confusion about the translation of the Name of Jesus Christ.
Now there came a woman from Switzerland—I think—and she confused a lot of people, and by now, many were already baptized all over in the Hebrew Name of Jesus—Yeshua—whatever they believe. She says God revealed to her that the Name must not be translated.
It is nothing new to us however, for here in SA the so “Israelites” are busy with that for decades. For the Name in Hebrew they also have different spellings in the Old Testament, but the Name they usually use is Yeshua.
I saw an article about that woman somewhere, so I knew about her.
These people who are now confused by her, are mostly people that for years are saved by the same Name of Jesus Christ—in other words, if the translation of the Name is wrong, then the Name of Jesus can’t save—and then these people were never born again!—and then even I am not born-again!
If the translated Name of Jesus can’t save, then nobody was ever saved through the past 2000 years, except a few Jews and a few that today believe in the Hebrew spelling.
Here it already becomes clear who is behind this thing! The fallen angels, giving them out as angels of light! (Daniel 10)
Already in 1982 in Pongola, I was confronted with the idea that it was wrong to translate the Name; that “Jesus” was derived from the idol Zeus.
Because I am very earnest with God, I urgently wanted to know the truth from Him—the whole idea made me very uneasy, however.
All the way from Pongola I prayed about it and begged God to make it clear to me, for I want to know everything as He wants me to know.
In Middelburg, where I stopped at the Kanhym Butcherybutchery, while I left my car to enter the butchery, Holy Spirit clearly asked me this question: “Who saw to it that Greek was the written language in the time when Jesus was as human being on earth?”
With that He made it all crystal clear to my spirit and mind, as Holy Spirit alone can do.
After that I had the greatest peace, because then I knew the truth. Many things then became clear to me; in the inscription on the head of the cross, these words were written: “Jesus the Nazarene the King of the Jews.” (John 19:19) Now this was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin—says the Bible. So there the Name was translated into Greek and Latin. Not only in Hebrew!
Hebrew is Yeshua; Greek is Iesous; Aramaic is Yesu. (New Bible Dictionary page 661 and 478) I don’t know the Latin.
The “I” in Greek and the “Y” in Aramaic are pronounced as “J”. So from this Aramaic came the English as “Yesus” pronounced as Jesus. At the time the Jews spoke Aramaic.
Because Jesus is a Jew, He was named in Hebrew. The translation does not change the Name or Person; it is translated, not changed. The Name IS the Person Jesus! (If you really seriously want to know and you mean it earnestly, just ask Holy Spirit to give you this precious revelation!)
There is only One God, Creator of heaven and earth (Colossians 1:16. John.1:3) who was born on earth as a human being, who was crucified and again resurrected to redeem the human race from hell—in whichever language you use His Name, it is still one and the same Jesus!
The Bible clearly states that the blood of the Lamb purchased people from every tribe, language and nation. If only Hebrew was allowed to use, this scripture must be changed and the word “language” must be cut out.
We who are baptized in Holy Spirit—what glorious experience—never hear ourselves mention the Name of Jesus when praying in tongues—but still we praise and glorify God and we pray in other tongues, so we have to use the Name of Jesus. Thus we use the Name in some foreign tongue as Holy Spirit gives us utterance! (Acts 2)
The Bible says there is only One Name in heaven and earth given to man to be saved; so, if the translation of the Name does not save, none could be saved.
Who saw to it that Greek was the written language in the time Jesus walked the earth? Was it just coincidence? Never! God is Almighty and All-knowing and He planned it as He wants it, from before the foundation of the world.
One of the reasons is that the numeric value of the Name of Jesus in Greek is 888; the highest expression for resurrection and a new beginning. This is only in Greek, in no other language.
Paul was a very highly educated Jew; although he certainly spoke Aramaic and knew Hebrew, he wrote in Greek; thus he wrote in the Greek spelling, Iesous, (pronounced; Jesous) who wants to find fault with that?
The rest of the New Testament was also written in Greek; Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter—all of them wrote their Books in Greek! All of them translated the Name of Jesus!
Today the “Israelites” have themselves baptized in the Hebrew Name—there is nothing wrong with the Hebrew Name, just as there is nothing wrong with the English or Afrikaans Name, Jesus.
But baptism doesn’t save
Because one is already saved by the Name of the Son of God—in whatever language—he is then baptized into the Name of Jesus in obedience to God.
Let’s look a little deeper; there is TB Joshua for example; in which Name are all those hundreds of people saved and happen all those mighty healings and miracles when he prays in the Name of Jesus Christ? Certainly not in the name of the idol Zeus!
Just think back to the mighty ministry of William Branham in the Name of Jesus; what about Smith Wigglesworth? And John G. Lake? What about millions of people who are saved around the globe in that Mighty Name of Jesus?
“And the salvation is in none other; for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Wherever anybody is saved and born again, it is in the Name of Jesus Christ only—in whatever tongue it is used. I repeat; if the translated Name does not save, nobody was saved through the past 2000 years, except for a few Jews.
Now the question: Who wants to undermine Jesus? Who wants people to doubt Jesus? Who wants to distract people from Jesus to keep themselves busy with things like the onslaught against the translation of the Name, that they won’t keep their eyes and heart undivided on Jesus?
Who wants to divert people’s attention from the second coming of Jesus Christ?
WHO?
The Bible says our wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against the principalities, against the authorities; against the world-rulers of this darkness; against the spirituals of the wickedness in the heavenlies. (Ephesians 6:12)
It is the misleading spirits, the fallen rulers who now bring these things to people—no wonder Holy Spirit now gave us the revelation of the fallen spirit rulers.
They want to distract the attention of born-again people, from Jesus and the time; they want to sow doubt against Jesus! Very subtle and cunning!
They don’t come with a bad and sinful issue; they only want to keep people busy not to give attention to the sanctification of the spirit, soul and body in preparation for His second coming.
Jesus says in the last days the false prophets would be so near to the truth that, if possible, the very elect would also be misled.mislead. (Matthews 24:24)
Look at one of the reasons why they try so hard to undermine the Name of Jesus: “You believe that God is One; you do well; the demons also believe and shudder.” (James 2:19) Because these fallen rulers know that it is the Mighty Name of Jesus that will break their works and chase them into hell, they shudder with fear and try to ruin this Name!
These fallen spirit rulers try their utmost to distract people from Jesus—and people start doubting Jesus!
This is an onslaught on Jesus—can’t you see? The translation is not really the issue here, although all the people they mislead run with that and think this is the reason.
See who is coming like an angel of light with such a good message—look at the cunning eyes that peep out and see who is responsible for this confusion! Satan and his hordes don’t care about the “right” spelling of the Name of Jesus Christ!
They shudder and tremble before the use of this Mighty Name and they want to do anything to stop it!
Abram was changed to Abraham; Sarai was changed to Sarah; Jacob to Israel; Simon to Peter; Saul to Paul.
The names of these chief characters in the Bible were somehow or other changed by God! This clearly shows that the name IS the person although the name might be changed.
